BMP هو تنسيق صور نقطية غير مضغوط أصلي لنظام Microsoft Windows. يخزن بيانات البكسل بدون ضغط، مما ينتج ملفات كبيرة جدًا لكن بدون أي فقدان في الجودة. يُستخدم BMP بشكل أساسي في رسومات نظام Windows وكتنسيق وسيط أثناء معالجة الصور.

التفاصيل التقنية

يخزن BMP بيانات البكسل في صورة نقطية مستقلة عن الجهاز مع ضغط RLE اختياري. يدعم أعماق ألوان من 1 بت إلى 32 بت بما في ذلك قنوات ألفا بعمق 8 بت.

التاريخ

تم تقديم BMP مع Windows 1.0 في عام 1985 كتنسيق الصور الأصلي لمنصتي OS/2 وWindows. تم تحديثه عدة مرات مع دعم أحدث إصدار لملفات تعريف ألوان ICC.
